Short version: KooDeck sets no cookies of its own, uses no analytics, and no trackers. The games run entirely in your browser, and your results never leave your device.
[OPERATOR NAME], [contact email], and [your country/state] — and confirm this reflects how you actually run the site. This is a plain-language template, not legal advice; if you operate in the EU/UK or California, have it reviewed.
KooDeck ("we", "us") is a free educational project operated by [OPERATOR NAME]. Questions about privacy can be sent to [contact email].
We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not collect names, email addresses, or profiles. We run no analytics and set no tracking or advertising cookies.
When you play, everything happens inside your browser. Your choices, scores, reaction times, and the trial-by-trial data behind your report live only in your device's memory (RAM) for the length of the session. They are never sent to us or anyone else. When you close or refresh the tab, they are gone. There is no server storing your results because there is no server involved in playing.
The "Download data" button in your report writes a file directly to your own device. That file goes nowhere else unless you share it yourself.
A "cookie" is a small file a site stores in your browser. KooDeck sets no cookies for analytics, advertising, or tracking — none at all.
The only thing KooDeck stores in your browser is a single functional flag that remembers you dismissed the notice at the bottom of the screen, so it does not reappear on every visit. It contains no personal data, is not shared, and you can clear it any time by clearing your browser storage for this site.
| What | Set by | Purpose | Personal data? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Notice-dismissed flag | KooDeck | Remembers you closed the privacy notice | No |
| Game session data | KooDeck (in memory only) | Runs the game; erased on tab close | Never leaves your device |
KooDeck itself sends nothing about you anywhere. A small number of outside services are used to display the site and to let you support it. Each is listed here so you can decide.
The site's fonts are served by Google Fonts. To deliver a font file, Google receives a standard web request that includes your IP address. Google states its Fonts service does not set cookies. If you would prefer no request to Google at all, the operator can self-host the fonts — see the note below.
The landing page has an optional "Support KooDeck" button. Nothing from Stripe loads unless you click it. If you do, Stripe's secure checkout loads and Stripe may set cookies it needs to prevent fraud and process a payment. Any card details you enter go directly to Stripe — KooDeck never sees or stores them. Stripe's own privacy policy governs that step: stripe.com/privacy.
The site's files are served by a static host (such as Cloudflare Pages or GitHub Pages). Like any web server, the host may process standard technical request logs, which can include IP addresses, for security and delivery. It does not receive your game results, because those never leave your browser.
KooDeck is a general-audience educational game and is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent age in your region). Because we collect no personal data and require no account, we do not knowingly gather information from anyone.
Because KooDeck holds no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to look up, correct, or delete on our side. You remain in full control locally: clear your browser storage to remove the notice flag, and close the tab to erase all game data. Where local laws (such as GDPR or CCPA) grant rights over personal data, they are easy to honour here precisely because we hold none.
KooDeck is an educational game, not a medical test, and it produces game scores — not health information. It cannot detect, screen for, or rule out any medical condition, and nothing it shows is a health record. See the Terms of Service for more.
If how the site handles data changes, this page and its "last updated" date will change with it. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect where practical.
